Sumikawa Sake Brewer has a young charismatic presence in the brewery industry putting a liquor store at the Shimane prefecture border in Hagi Yamaguchi Prefecture. Based on the motto "I want alcohol to go through rice" Mr. Yoshifumi Sumikawa who served as a president and citizen (Tojo) brewed soy sake. Sumikawa Sakebu who fell into crisis due to major disasters in 2013 but with a strong spirit has made a huge capital investment from the number of production of 1500 koku before the flood. In the university days it is said that he became indebted to Takagi Brewery known for "14th generation". Mr. Sumikawa says that "I will not lose to anyone in sake brewing". His attitude taste and quality evaluation are definitely recognized in the country nationwide. In December 2016 at the Japan-Russia summit this was the Sake praised by President Putin. It keeps the best balance of exquisite taste scent and acidity. This Junmai Daiginjo is made of Choushuu Yamada Nishiki 40% rice polished. It is a delicious drink with a gentle and elegant taste. It has a faint smell of Ginjo and has a smooth texture. You can also taste the rice flavor and this sake has nice aftertaste.
